A total of 14 units of Honda AT Model, the Vario 150, specially draped in national colour, will be used for the ride with the rider themselves to be made out of invited guests.
The ride was conceived out of Boon Siew Honda’s ever continuing commitment to bring joy toward the community it serves with activities and visits at each stop points before ending the ride on 16th December 2018 in conjunction of the last round for 25th Edition of the Malaysian Cub Prix.
On December 10, 2018, the rider will be flag off from Boon Siew Honda’s factory in Batu Kawan, Penang and ride for 7 days, passing through 6 states on their way to Bandar Penawar in Johor.
The following is the itinerary of the Jelajah Vario Sayangi Malaysiaku 2018.
Day 1 – 10th December 2018.
o Flag off at Boon Siew Honda Factory in Batu Kawan, Penang before heading to Kota Bharu Kelantan.
o Total distance covered: 359KM with an estimated ride duration of 6 hours.
Day 2 – 11th December 2018.
o Following an overnight stay in Kota Bharu, the convoy will be touring the west coast area of Malaysia to Kijal, Terengganu.
o Total distance covered: 321KM with an estimated ride duration of 5 hours.
Day 3 – 12th December 2018.
o The third day of the ride would be the most scenic and arduous section of the journey as the convoy will be heading to Genting Highland, Pahang from Kijal, Terengganu.
o Total distance covered: 334KM with an estimated ride duration of 4.5 hours.
Day 4 – 13th December 2018.
o After an overnight stay in Genting Highland, the convoy will be making a short hop down to Kuala Lumpur.
o Total distance covered: 70KM with an estimated ride duration of 2 hours.
Day 5 – 14th December 2018.
o The convoy will next be making their way to Muar, Johor following an overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur.
o Total distance covered: 237KM with an estimated ride duration of 4 hours.
Day 6 – 15th December 2018.
o The final stretch of the journey, the convoy will travel straight through the heartland of Johor toward Bandar Penawar from Muar.
o Total distance covered: 290KM with an estimated ride duration of 4 hours.
Day 7 – 16th December 2018.
o The main highlight for Jelajah Vario Sayangi Malaysiaku, the rider will receive a hero welcome upon crossing the finishing line just in time for the Malaysian Cub Prix round 10 at Bandar Penawar, Johor
