KAWASAKI 2017 ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN
IN CONJUNCTION with the coming Chinese New Year festive season at the end of this month, Kawasaki Motors Malaysia had a road safety campaign besides the Sungai Besi Toll Plaza Southbound.
The Safety Campaign with the theme ‘Clearly Seen, Safe Ride’ was held from 8.30 am to 5 pm, and officiated by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

According to Kawasaki Motors Malaysia executive chairman, Tan Sri Yahya Ahmad Faez, the main objective of the campaign for this year is to create awareness about the importance of proper motorcycle maintenance and bright clothing that can ensure the rider can always be seen on the road.
“This period is considered appropriate because of the traffic on the road increases when people want to go back to the cottage or on vacation.
“With machinery and the safe use of it, he hopes Kawasaki and also the parties involved in this campaign can reduce the death rate on the roads, especially during the festive season.
Said Ahmad Faez, it is the second time the program organized by Kawasaki Malaysia to motorcyclists as motorcyclist contribute to 60 percent of the total number of road accidents.
In a campaign carried out during the day, Kawasaki motorcycles has been providing inspection area by a trained mechanic inspect 16 Kawasaki motorcycle parts regardless of brand.
Motorcyclist who participated in the Safety Campaign was given a new helmet and a florescent yellow colored jacket upon the 16 point inspection.
