GoPro today, gave us a chance to review the all new GoPro Hero6 Black. A product briefing was given by Sangeet Singh from Funsportz Sdn Bhd, the official GoPro distributor in Malaysia. Leona Chin unboxed the GoPro Hero6 Black and the Karma Grip. Sangeet also elaborated the difference between the Hero5 and Hero6 stabilization capabilities. All happening at the BlastaCars Sungei Wang in Kuala Lumpur.
We got first hand to test out the new Hero6 stabilization compare to our Hero Session5 n Hero5 Black. 3x more stability, and is just super smooth, 4k in 60 fps recording. Comparing the color profiles, the HERO6 seems to retain details by an entire stop, possibly a little more, than the HERO5. The dynamic range really seems to have improved. Boasting a custom-designed GP1 processor that offers twice the video frame rates, improved image quality, dynamic
range, low-light performance and dramatically improved video stabilization over previous HERO camera generations, the HERO6 is able to record stunning 4K60 and 1080p240 video and features the most advanced video stabilization ever achieved in a GoPro.
Other key details include an all-new touch zoom, 3x faster offload speeds via 5GHz wi-fi, waterproof up to 33 Feet, voice control in 10 languages and with QuikStories enabled, you can automatically transform your adventures into cinematic videos that you can share easily through the GoPro app.
