Ahmad Fazli Sham set early targets to qualify for the CP150 Superpole session at the fourth round of the PETRONAS AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship which will take place in Temerloh on Aug 18 and 19.
Still fresh with the double win in the Underbone 150cc class at the recent Asian Motorcycle Championship (ARRC) in India, Fazli is looking forward to continuing the momentum in the national championship with ONEXOX TKKR Racing team.
However, after three rounds so far, the 36-year-old rider has yet to his rhythm as he still fails to put himself in the top 10 for Superpole.
“We are still looking for compatibility and will continue to work hard. In Asia already started to improve and so is at Cub Prix where he also got the podium in Jasin, but Fazli is still not at the best yet. Although I managed to be in the top 10 in the final race, however, qualifying results were a bit disappointing. He does not want to put pressure on the podium and be more realistic and aim to top Superpole is the main goal at this time.
