A safety riding initiative which started at school level, was jointly organized by Federal Territory Education Department, Federal Territory Crime Prevention Foundation, Kuala Lumpur City Hall and Kuala Lumpur’s Investigation and Traffic Enforcement Department.
30 junior high school students around Kuala Lumpur were brought together to experience convoy with a traffic police team
and visited the PDRM Museum at Pulapol Jalan Semarak Kuala Lumpur. The initiative is to cultivate the spirit of young riders to comply with the law and prevent crime on the road.
Present at Jalan Bandar where the convoy ended was Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim, Federal Territory Education Director Rusni Abdul Jalil and chairman of the Kuala Lumpur Crime Prevention Foundation Bok Siew Mun.
