Revitalized Jorge Lorenzo continues to dominate Catalunya Spanish GP at Barcelona as the Poleman led from start to finish to win his second GP win on the Ducati. Perfectly ridden from the second lap onwards leading to finish, the poleman Jorge get his 150th podium. Meanwhile the championship leader Marc Marques finished behind Lorenzo while Dovizioso drop out of the contention for podium when he crashed out, while Valentino Rossi took his 3rd consecutive podium finish. On the podium at Catalunya, there were 22 world championship titles between Lorenzo, Marquez and Rossi. They are the living legends of MotoGP.
Marc Marques still leads the World Championship standing with 27 points ahead of Valentino Rossi. With 12 more round to go Rossi can still challenge for his 10th title.
Only 14 riders finished the Catalunya race. Rookie Hafizh Syahrin was unlucky to have crashed out with 4 laps remaining, in 9th position. Syahrin went wide on the dirty track and found himself thrown out of his Monster Tech3 Yamaha. But he was unhurt. The Barcelona circuit is like Syahrin second home track as Barcelona was his base during the Repsol CEV races. Lets hope Syarin can regain his composure in Assen in two week time and get more points for the Rookie of the Year. Franco Morbidelli whom finished in 14th position at Barcelona, leads Syahrin by 2 points.
