Khairul Idham Pawi, Malaysia’s first Moto3 winner, was given a hero’s welcome by his fans on his return home after the winning his second Moto3 GOPRO GermanGP title.
Schedule to arrive KLIA at 7am 22nd July but flight delayed over 16 hours didn’t deter his fans who greeted #SuperKIP with a warm welcome back, after the world championship takes a month break.
The 17-year-old rookie rider came out of the arrival hall at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang yesterday around 11pm with more than 100 fans, waited at the KLIA with a giant poster congratulating Khairul for his second win last Sunday.
His parents was the first to give hugs to the rookie Moto3 rider who has risen the Malaysia flag and Negaraku played for the second time this year in the World Championships. Khairul, won the Moto3 race in Sachenring Germany by a 11-second margin.
