Riding abroad is a great big adventure, and is one of our biking must-dos. The nearest abroad we’ve got is riding to Thailand.
But another favourite destination is to Alps in Europe, stretching approximately 1,200 kilometres (750 mi) across eight Alpine countries: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Slovenia, and Switzerland

Along the Alps, which has a disproportionate percentage of awesome roads, the weather, if not exclusively fantastic, is predictable, but put that aside: go to Europe side seeing on a bike and you will certainly love it.
Lead by Assir and 20 of their BMW club member decided to ship their bikes to Europe and ride there for approx. 22 days, being BMW biker and enthusiast, the 1st destination is of course Germany and to visit BMW head office and museum.
Covering five, six, even seven hundred kilometres in a day may sound like a big task but it is possible. Even 1000 kilometres is within reach
Here are some tips for new adventure riders, first, know where you’re going and plan a route. GPS can do the work for you but many prefer a good old map. Techno-phobes would do well to write out a route plan and stick it on the tank or in a tankbag but some routes may be more complex.
Second, manage fuel consumption. You’ll cover more distance by going slower, using less fuel and stopping less often.
